Short Story Of Arab Invasion Of India

In 7th century AD , when Harshvardhana was the ruler of northern India , Pulakesin 2 of south India , the world saw birth of a new religion which was founded by Prophet Mohammad of  Arabia . Mohammad was followed by caliphs who looked after the stat and religion . During this period the whole Arabia embraced Islam .

       First Muslim to lead a regular army into India was Mohammad Bin Qasim  He invaded India in 712 Ad and conquered Sindh and Multan .

MAHMOOD  GHAZNAVI 

Mahmood Ghaznavi led in 1001 AD , an expedition against Jaipala , the ruler of Ohind and defeated him . Ghaznavi took Multan in 1006, Thaneshwar in 1014 AD, Kannauj in 1018 AD and Gwalior in 1018 AD . He looted Somnath Temple in 1025 AD
